Kevin Nolan was the man of the match vs Chelsea in a good team performance
|
We got plenty of chances in both halfs. Let´s ruin Arsenal, they are not the same team they were, were like a pub team vs Monaco

You are proper weird.
We disagree, and I've said I have no problem with that. What do you want me to say?
For the record, I wasn't even having the debate with you, YOU decided to jump in, and now you need a lie down.
Mrs Thumb must be one lucky girl.

ED.... Try Nobles performance against West Brom in the Cup . That was as bad as Nolan if not worse.

"Nolan has played in 20 games this season in the prem out of 28 so he has played a big part in this season "
He's been shit, all season. So I'm not sure how you can say that.
Unless we are still pretending that moaning at the ref and waving your arms at team mates constitutes a "big part"?

I answered 3 of your questions in one post, and asked you what the other one was, which you ignored.
So, how many of those were sub appearances, and having watched the games (I'm assuming you go to games?) how much better were we without him starting?
Also, have a stab at naming a worse individual performance from a West Ham player, let alone captain, than Nolan in the Cup against Everton?
Cheers.

In June, Nolan will be celebrating his 33rd birthday and he has admitted he is thinking about his options, talking to London 24 he said: “I have been considering my future, without a shadow of a doubt, I am not one who wants to sit here on the bench, I won’t continue to do it, just for the fact that if you are not good enough for one club you move on and you prove to someone else you are.â€
The Right Offer
Nolan’s future is likely to be part of West Ham's end of season review, with the thinking that both he and right-back Guy Demel will be allowed to leave the club, should acceptable bids come in for the pair.
With manager Sam Allardyce’s future also up in the air, this summer could see both Big Sam and Nolan leave the club. The manager-player combination enjoyed success together throughout their careers at both Bolton and West Ham.
With future the key word at Upton Park this summer it could be time to say farewell to the captain who divided the fans but has certainly served the club well in his four years in the claret and blue.

There are 4 questions on this thread you have not answered, but I will answer this one.
Nolan has played in 20 games this season in the prem out of 28 so he has played a big part in this season which will probably be his last and that is why we need a new leader in the summer.
Q/P
Kevin Nolan considers his future and a possible Upton Park exit
West Ham United captain Kevin Nolan is thinking about moving clubs in the next transfer window after finding himself on the substitutes bench more often than he would have liked this season.
The 32-year-old midfielder has enjoyed a successful career, scoring over 100 goals in all competitions in the English game.
Former Bolton and Newcastle midfielder has served West Ham well over the four seasons he has captained the club, however there have always been some fans who have not taken to the player
Having made a name for himself as an attacking midfielder, the player has been most successful when playing just behind a target man and picking up balls knocked down to him in the box, forming a good partnership with Kevin Davies at Bolton before linking up with Andy Carroll at Newcastle and West Ham.
Nolan is no spring chicken now, and he is the first to admit that, but he has consistently popped up with important goals throughout his career and could certainly do a job for a promotion chasing Championship side.

Nolan is a player that unfortunately has always had the stigma of being BFS favourite son. In golfing terms he's 1 down before he's even teed it up. There's no denying his performances this season have not been up to scratch. On the whole though he has been a good signing for the club. His time here though is coming to an end and we should appreciate the blokes commitment since he's been here and wish him well for the future wherever he ends up.
As a club if we are to continue the progression we've shown this year then Nolan is not the future. Players like Kouyate Sakho Valencia are. Young hungry players.

He's clearly on some kind of weird fishing trip ED - saw Glenn Rodent on one and had to have a go.
I'd say it's a psychological condition.

Noble is not a leader, if you know someone around the squad just ask him and if you have been to games where he is the captain it is crystal clear that he is not a leader
Reid is not a "TAKE CHARGE LEADER", if you go to games then focus on that and brief me later

The importance of a leader on the pitch is something you and many others on here don´t realise, he is the captain and has been a great captain since he came here.
We needed a leader vs Palace and Tottenham
I´ll quote a former England international again for you or maybe you know better than him ?
" Arsenal legend Sansom: Wenger team lacks leaders
Former Arsenal captain Kenny Sansom has no doubts his old club lack leaders.
Sansom says the Gunners need to find someone in the mould of Manchester United legend Bryan Robson.
He told the Sunday Mirror: "Arsenal have a whole lot of very talented skilful players who play great football. But they need that leader.
I was lucky. I played with some great captains. I had Tony Adams at Arsenal and Bryan Robson when I was with England.
And I am thinking of players like Pat Rice, Steve Perryman and Billy Bonds. My definition of a captain is an individual who may not be having the best of days himself, but who can keep the others are on their toes."
